Competitor Analysis
Goal of this project is to work with a new supplier to design one top-load washer with back-located control panel which align with Whirlpool global VBL. It’s for Chinese mainland market, aiming to gain some brand identity and market share for Whirlpool. Back-located control panel is one of the old ways of placing control panel in Chinese market.
Creation and Design
Due to the change of business plan and deducted budget, the project scope ended to only design the top part which has to fit with the existing cabinet. There’s nothing design team can change in the cabinet, even the radius dimension.
Design is promoted by a TV show in 2018
