Goal of this project is to design new top load and front load washer which are planned on existing Haier platform, but for global market including America and China. Two product are independent from each other and they are first time GEA designs product for Haier manufacture capacity.

The team likes the idea of floating top from the very beginning phase of ideation. The main idea is to focus on the top of the washer where all the interactive elements are located and make it like human "head". It has indicating light to tell user its working status. In the future, we can even make the top a robot head which can adjust its height and posture to fit for different usage scenario.
